We love tea, and want to spread that love, which is why at English Tea Shop we have made it our life long mission to deliver the best possible cuppa to the Nation and beyond.

We source only the finest, tastiest ingredients, dealing directly with farmers and producers from all over the world. We have some of the most experienced tea blenders, formulators and tasters in the industry, and to boot, our manufacturing facility is in the heart of Sri Lanka, meaning we can rely upon tried and tested tea techniques, along with a few modern processes, to deliver truly delicious, sustainable, yet economical solutions.

We have an extensive range of delectable teas, from traditional English Breakfast, to the tongue tingling tisane, Lemongrass, Ginger and Citrus, just waiting for you.

After 30 years in the tea trade, I strongly felt that there was a need for a new tea experience; tea blends which built on the irreplaceable classics, but aimed higher, teas, tisanes and botanicals which excited and stimulated the senses… and so the English Tea Shop was born!

We were conscious that we didn’t want to alienate existing tea drinkers, so our tea developments were often subtle. We spent hour upon hour blending, testing and sampling. We tasted thousands of sample brews to draw up a shortlist, and repeated the process with equal measure to reach our final range. And we haven’t looked back from day one. We receive fantastic feedback from consumers and trade partners every single day, and are delighted in the knowledge that our customers enjoy our teas and tisanes as much as we do! We can’t wait for more people to share in the English Tea Shop love.
